The small salon
On the walls of the small salon, there is a glue-printed panoramic wallpaper. This type of wallpaper was manufactured in 1802 by the company Zuber. The motifs with ancient scenes or exotic landscapes were imported from France in large quantities. It served as the tv room of the time. One wanted to show their friends that they had been out in the world and seen other cultures.
The crystal chandelier is empiric. The style is tight and the chandeliers are characterized by the lower part having straight sides with a cone-shaped basket or cutting-the-cup base.
The room is furnished with karljohan furniture in dark polished mahogany. The salon was the ladies’ reve where they could converse undisturbed.
